Photo Identification Required
From 1st February 2025, all candidates will need to bring photo identification when attending an ALS, EPALS or NLS course or retest to confirm their identity. Accepted forms of photo ID include:

  • Passports
  • Identity cards
  • Photo-ID driving licence
  • Photo-ID work identification badge
To ensure a smooth check-in on the day, please remember to bring one of the accepted IDs listed above. Unfortunately, if we’re unable to verify your identity, we won’t be able to allow entry to the course. As a result, refunds or course transfers won’t be possible. Beginning January 2025, the Resuscitation Council UK is enhancing its Generic Instructor Course to improve instructor readiness and teaching practices. These changes focus on improving practical teaching techniques, particularly in simulation, skills acquisition, and assessment methods.

Covers essential elements to ensure you feel confident and ready for the ALS course. Each session is designed to enhance your practical skills and theoretical understanding, equipping you with the tools to succeed in your ALS course.

While attendance at this preparation course is not mandatory, previous participants have found it highly beneficial. Many report feeling more confident and well-prepared for the ALS course, improving their overall experience and performance.
