We are looking for ad-hoc instructors, who are ALS, and /or EPALS and GIC instructors to teach on our ALS, EPALS and GIC courses that are held on weekdays and weekends throughout the year. Most of the courses are held at our training centre, which is just 30 minutes from London on the train. We also support our clients and hold courses in Winchester, Guildford, and Manchester. We are advocates of best resuscitation practice and use the best manikins available and are very well organised.

We are also looking for additional Medical Directors for ALS and EPALS and Course Directors for ALS, EPALS and GIC courses.

There are also opportunities to be involved with teaching ILS and PILS throughout the UK, especially Scotland, North East, Across the Midlands, London and the Home Counties.

Benefits include a good rate or pay, travel allowance and accommodation (as per a consultancy policy).

Salary:  Band 5 equivalent

Location:  London and the home counties

Hours:  Flexible, including full and part time working

Essential criteria:   Registered with the NMC, GMC or HCPC. Relevant clinical skills and experience. An interest in resuscitation, with either a valid Resuscitation Council UK Immediate or Advanced Life Support Provider certificate, or a commitment to gaining these with A&A Training’s support.

Salary:  Band 5-6 equivalent

Location of posts available:  London and the home counties, Midlands, South West

Hours:  Flexible, including full and part time working

Essential criteria:  Registered with the NMC, GMC or HCPC. Relevant clinical skills and experience. An interest in clinical skills and resuscitation, with either a valid Resuscitation Council UK Immediate or Advanced Life Support Provider certificate, or a commitment to gaining these with A&A Training’s support.

Salary:   Band 5- 6 equivalent

Location of posts available:  London and the home counties and across the Midlands

Hours:  Flexible, including full and part time working

Essential criteria:  A formal Moving and Handling / Ergonomics educational qualification. Relevant experience of Moving and Handling in various healthcare settings.

Salary:  Band 6 equivalent

Location of posts available:  Across the Midlands, North East England, London and the Home Counties,

Hours:  Flexible, including full and part time working

Essential criteria:  Registered with the NMC, GMC or HCPC. Relevant clinical skills and experience (specifically dealing with seriously ill patients and / or cardiac arrest situations). An interest in resuscitation and a Resuscitation Council UK Advanced Life Instructor and/or European Paediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor. We will also consider clinicians who have undertaken the GIC course but have not taken their ICs yet.

Salary: Band 6 – 7

Location of posts available:  Across the Midlands – North West, London and Home Counties

Hours:  Flexible, including full and part time working

Essential Criteria:  Registered with the NMC, GMC or HCPC, Relevant clinical skills and experience (specifically leading teams dealing with seriously ill patients and / or in cardiac arrest situations), Resuscitation Council UK ALS and EPALS Instructor. An interest in becoming a Resuscitation Council course director and GIC Instructor.
