ALS Preparation 3rd October 2025
While no one anticipates requiring a retest, please note that if an MCQ retest is needed this must be at an RC UK course centre and completed within three months of the course. This should be factored into any travel plans that you are making.
We recommended that you:
- undergo ACLS or ILS training prior to attending an ALS course.
- undergo PALS or PILS training prior to attending an EPALS course.
The course is conducted in English. You must be able to understand and communicate clearly, as a translator will not be available.
If you cancel within 6 weeks of the start date you forfeit all monies paid and any transaction fees charged by the payment gateway will not be refunded.
Yes, all our courses are accredited by the Resuscitation Council UK.
You will be asked to complete a post course feedback form, once this is completed you will receive your certificate digitally.
Your course manual will be sent to you approximately four weeks before the course date. It is important that you read the information in this manual before attending the course.
Please ensure you complete the online course registration form in full, we will use this to send you your manual and enrol you on the Resuscitation Council UK LMS system.
For UK postal addresses manuals are sent via DPD next day.
For any other addresses manuals are sent via Royal Mail at additional cost. For any questions about shipping costs please contact our office on 44 (0) 1634 717703.
Please check your junk folder. It will have been sent automatically to the email address you provided on the booking form.
However, if you have previously registered with the Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) LMS you will be enrolled with your old account. You will then need to contact RCUK via lms@resus.org.uk to change your email to the correct one.Â
Logins are provided 4 weeks before the course date.
You may have access to a number of E-Learning modules (if available) and the pre-course MCQ on the RCUK LMS, which you must access and complete before attending the course. To complete a module, you need to access all available topics and attempt the ‘check your knowledge’ section (if available) so that the LMS records your progress for the module as ‘complete’.
